Penny (Barber) has not been able to move on since the death of her husband, but is glad that her stepson (Jason Pierce) is visiting her after being away at college. She confides in him about her loneliness and how she continues to miss his dad as they chat (a one-sided conversation with silent Jason in the POV-camera format) in the living room. “Can I show you something?”, she asks him, taking Jason’s hand and leading him upstairs.
